About Us
We at Millde are a venture company that provides contract analysis services and develops and sells equipment using cutting-edge Raman spectroscopy technology. We provide strong support for research and development and quality control by performing non-destructive analysis at the molecular level for a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, food, and semiconductors.
Our unique multi-point simultaneous measurement technology achieves speeds up to 100 times faster than conventional Raman analysis, allowing us to analyze large numbers of samples in a short amount of time, opening up new possibilities in analysis such as screening and process monitoring.
Our Story
At The University of Osaka, we have specialized in research into optical measurement technology. In particular, for many years, we have pursued the development of efficient and highly sensitive detection methods for Raman spectroscopy. Traditionally, Raman spectroscopy has been used as an analytical method for bulk substances such as materials and compounds, but we have been conducting research to further expand its range of applications.
Raman spectroscopy is an excellent technology that can visualize the molecular structure of cells and tissues without labels. However, the time required for measurement and the high cost have been major barriers to practical use. After much trial and error in the laboratory, we have succeeded in developing an optical system that can observe multiple measurement points simultaneously. This allows measurements that previously took several hours to be completed in just a few minutes.
This technology enables label-free imaging and screening analysis of a variety of samples, from materials to living cells.
With the desire to spread this innovative technology to society and accelerate its use in research and industry, we established our company in 2024. We have now grown to the point where we are engaged in joint development and contract analysis with multiple companies.
